Mini

A mini bag measures under 8 inches across the base, about the length of a large phone laid flat. Volume lands between 1 and 2 liters. The realistic contents are a phone, two or three cards and a key fob. Add one small item such as a lipstick or a pair of earbuds. Everything else rides in a pocket or a second bag.

The size explains the behavior. With so little room, nothing shifts as you walk, and the loaded bag stays around 200 to 400 grams. It never pulls a coat out of line. That tightness is also the cost: there is no margin. A bulky key ring or a thick card holder takes the space your phone needed.

Fit your phone before anything else. A 6.7 inch phone measures roughly 6.3 by 3.1 inches, so it needs the full internal width and about an inch of depth. It goes in only if the opening runs the whole width rather than through a narrow gathered top. Ask for internal measurements, since lining and padding routinely eat half an inch off the external number. If the bag fastens with a flap, test whether the flap still reaches its lock with the phone inside. A packed mini pushes its front panel forward more than a larger bag does.
