Feel the hem for a facing, an inner strip of cloth turned back and stitched, since a single-fold hem on a short jacket curls within a season. Boucle frays at every cut edge, so check that the seams inside are bound or overlocked. Storing it folded creases the hem, so give it a hanger and a shot of steam instead.
